Corals
Part of the Library Botanica collection, Corals are watercolor paintings of coral bits collected from the beaches where I walk. These integral parts of ocean regeneration often go unnoticed. Yet, they are pivotal in maintaining a healthy ecosystem for the ocean as they break down and form sand and homes for small sea creatures. After I make a painting of them, I return them to the ocean and these paintings are a record of this tiny item that is so important to sustaining marine life.
