True North Collection, size variable, mixed media, 2018 work in progress

True North is part of a larger body of work in progress about the idea of home. I use the term "idea of home" because the feeling of home is such an elusive quality that sometimes places that shouldn't feel like home just do, and ones that you try to make feel like home just never do. The north star, true north...these are way-finding elements I am calling upon here in search of home.
